Reining Cow Horse Clinic
Dan James & Dan Steers are together in Australia for this one and only clinic! Over two days the Dans will share their mutual passion for reining and cow horses. Dan James recently competed at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, and is the winner of multiple major US freestyle reining competitions. Dan Steers is a multiple Open campdraft and challenge winner. Together, they’ll deliver a proven program covering horsemanship techniques & body control directly related to achieving classy reining manoeuvres and successfully working cattle on horseback.
Participants are split in to two groups; one session riding, and the other learning by observing. The first day will cover reining manoeuvres, developing the techniques and strategies for you and your horse to be successful in positioning and working with the cattle the following day. Suitable for anyone who wants to benefit from the knowledge of two horsemen successful in their fields locally and abroad, for horses and riders wanting to improve their skills with cattle.
Clinic Times - Session 1: 8am – 12pm. Session 2: 1pm - 5pm.
